 
Altus AFB provides support feeding local community members in need
ALTUS, Okla. – Members of the Altus community and Altus Air Force Base form an assembly line for Harvest for the Hungry, at the S.G. Hove Center Nov. 12, 2011. The campaign to collect food for the Community Cupboard ran from Nov. 5th to the 12th to assist those in need of food throughout the year. Altus AFB takes Farm City
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Tom Buchanan, Lugert-Altus Irrigation District manager, explains the function of a water filtration system to service members assigned to Altus AFB Nov. 9, 2011. The system removes debris from the water which then goes through a second filtering process to remove bacteria. After the water is cleaned it is sent to local farms during the dry season to help grow crops. Fort Sill Soldiers pack up, head out
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Staff Sgt. Chris Joyce, 54th Air Refueling Squadron boom operator, explains to Spc. Cassandra E.
