97th SFS hosts Annual Pistol Competition
ALTUS, Okla. -- Tech. Sgt. Joshua Leach, 97th Security Forces Squadron bravo flight chief, competes in the Annual Pistol Competition at the Altus Police Department shooting range, May 14. During the competition, law enforcement members from the local area and Altus Air Force base compete to see who can finish the course with the highest amount of points. Participants were timed as they moved through three shooting scenarios. Seconds were taken away from their overall finish time for hitting correct targets, and time was added for missing or hitting incorrect targets. The competitor with the fastest time won.
