Lewis DeMaso, a KC-135 Stratotanker pilot with the 54th Air Refueling Squadron at Altus Air Force Base, provides aerial refueling to his older brother U.S. Air Force Col. William DeMaso, vice commander of the 23rd Wing at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., March 21. Kick Butts Day

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – (Left) Airman First Class Angelo Llorente, 97 Logistics Readiness Squadron, tightens a rope while Technical Sgt. Jered Evans, 97th LRS, hammers a cross into the ground. Altogether, 1200 crosses were set in place in front of the Altus Community center 23 March to represent the number of people who die, nationally, from tobacco related deaths every day. There are 16 red crosses representing the Oklahomans who die every day from tobacco related deaths. The main event Kick Butts Day will be held 24 March at the Altus Community Center 4-6pm.
