Black History Month 2019
Each year, during the month of February, we take time to celebrate the contributions of African Americans to our nation. The theme of 2019 is "Black Migration," as provided by the Association for the study of African American Life and History. This year’s theme emphasizes the movement of people of African descent to new destinations. Its intention, while including earlier centuries, is to focus especially on the 20th century through today. *As was provided by the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI).
