Innovative Airman of the Week
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Staff Sgt. Kiley Rosenstiel, 97th Medical Support Squadron medical logistics flight, was named Innovative Airman of the Week, Feb 15. As the focal point for a Pharmacy Forward Logistics initiative, she established a standardized scan and stocking schedule. This reduced the Pharmacy workload by six man-hours per week, increasing efficiency and availability of stocked pharmaceuticals. Additionally, as the medical equipment manager, Rosenstiel introduced a digital version of a medical equipment request form. This reduced the medical equipment package preparation process completion time by 50 percent. Finally, Rosenstiel was instrumental in realigning 10 Automated External Defibrillators within the Wing, which filled safety requirements for two Groups and saved $16,000 in procurement costs.
