ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Deann Miller, 97th Maintenance Directorate training manager, was named Innovative Airman of the Week, Feb. 4. Miller improved the Director of Maintenance Status of Training Report by reformatting verbiage and graphics, and reducing the report from 19 pages to five pages. With a cost-conscious culture in mind, Miller also converted a 120-page Special Certification Roster into an electronic file accessible to users and supervisors through Share-Point, reducing more than a month’s effort down to approximately 10 days, saving the Air Force more than $3,600 in labor costs per year.
