Members of the 97th Force Support Squadron hosted an annual holiday tree lighting ceremony at Wing of Freedom Park on Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, Dec. 6, 2022. Every year the family of a deployed Airman is selected to join base leadership in lighting the tree. This year, Trisha Fleishman, 97th Civil Engineer Squadron environmental manager’s assistant, and her family were given the opportunity to light the tree. In addition to the tree lighting, multiple Airmen and families had the opportunity to celebrate by eating cookies, drinking hot chocolate, dancing in the snow, listening to music sung by children from the youth center, feeding and petting reindeer, and taking pictures with Santa Claus.
