Community Engagement Mission

The objective of community engagement is to increase public awareness and understanding of the Air Force and Altus Air Force Base. The base maintains an active program that organizes base tours, coordinates base participation in large community events and parades, administrates the Eagle Pass program, leads the Honorary Commanders program and handles all noise complaints.

Our goal is to foster positive relations with the surrounding communities and participation in community events by Air Force personnel is highly encouraged. The Community Engagement office can be reached at (580) 481-7700 or by email at 97AMW.PA.CommunityEngagement@us.af.mil.
