Disciplinary Action Issued for Sexual Misconduct

    January

    No current record of sexual misconduct disciplinary actions for January 2024

    February

    Abusive Sexual Contact, Article 120, UCMJ - An Airman First Class sexually assaulted another member by touching the victim’s buttocks without their consent, and touching the victim’s vulva with their hand while the victim was impaired by alcohol and thus incapable of consenting. The Airman First Class accepted an Article 15 for this misconduct and was reduced to the grade of E-1.

    No current record of sexual misconduct disciplinary actions for April 2024.

    May

    No current record of sexual misconduct disciplinary actions for May 2024.

    June

    No current record of sexual misconduct disciplinary actions for June 2024.

    July

    Sexual Harassment, Article 134, UCMJ – A Senior Airman was watching pornography in the workplace and in the presence of co-workers. The Senior Airman accepted an Article 15 and received punishment of a reduction to the grade of E-3 and a reprimand.

    An Airman Basic sexually assaulted another member by touching her vaginal area while she was too intoxicated to consent, and touched her buttocks without her consent. The member received an Under Other Than Honorable Conditions (UOTHC) discharge. 

    August

    Under Other Than Honorable (UOTHC) Discharge, Misconduct – An Airman Basic committed sexual contact while the victim was incapable consenting due to impairment by alcohol.  The Airman received an Under Other Than Honorable discharge.

    September

    Sexual Assault, Article 120, UCMJ – An Airman First Class committed a penetrative sexual act upon a child who had attained the age of 12 years but had not attained the age of 16 years.  The Airman First Class was found guilty by a General Court-Martial and sentenced to eight years confinement, a dishonorable discharge, and reduction to the grade of E-1.
