Swim into the blue
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. — The base swimming pool near the Family Community Center opened May 23 to all ID card holders and their families for summer 2009. Admission to the pool is $1.50 per day or $35 for a season pass. A two-person pass is $60 and $5 for each additional person afterwards, up to eight people. The pool is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Lap swim is available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Squadrons may reserve the pool for parties on Tuesdays by calling Outdoor Recreation.
