More than 3,600 cookies were brought to the base chapel for Operation Cookie Drop. For the event, base and community members baked cookies for Airmen in the base dormitories for the holiday season. ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Bags of cookies were supplied, sorted and delivered to Airmen for Operation Cookie Drop, Dec. 11, 2018, at Altus Air Force Base, Okla. Base and community members supplied the cookies while volunteers sorted the cookies into seperate bags. The bags of cookies were then dispersed by squadron, each squadron receiving a bag for every Airman they have in the Altus AFB dormitories. From there, squadron leadership delivered the cookies to the Airmen.
