ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla --

More than 300 Airmen and families attended the quarterly Committee of 100, April 15, 2019, at Altus, Okla. Almost every quarter, the Committee of 100 dinner is hosted by the community of Altus to welcome newcomers, returning deployers and family members to Altus. Each dinner is different and meant to showcase an aspect of the local culture in Altus, this time around they showcased members of the Shortgrass Rattlesnake Association handling rattlesnakes. Commanders from each group on base introduces their new personnel, after which base members are free to enjoy horse rides and a mechanicle bull.
