Airmen from 97th Mission Support Group developed a family child care facility program to assist with the high demand of family services and limited hours of the Child Development Center. The Family Child Care (FCC) program is a daycare center operated out of a private residence. The members operating the center must go through extensive training and background checks in order to be cleared to operate the daycare center. Tyrone Dukes, operator of the FCC, recently moved from Okinawa, Japan where he ran a program similar to this out of his home.  The facility is located on Altus Air Force Base at 342 Calumet Ave. The hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Overnight weekend stays are offered by request only at the daycare center. If interested in enrolling visit www.MilitaryChildCare.com and select the FCC option or contact the Child Development Center for more information.
