ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The 97th Civil Engineer Squadron hosted the 97th Air Mobility Wing’s third annual holiday parade at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, December 13, 2022. More than 1,500 Airmen and families throughout base housing had the opportunity to observe the event.
Members observed bright lights and holiday music which outpoured from the lighted floats. The purpose of the parade is to provide holiday cheer and promote friendly competition between squadrons. The board consisted of three judges, all key spouses from the First Sergeant Council and floats were judged in three categories: Best Large Float, Best Small Float, and Most Holiday Spirit.
