Starting on or about Feb. 19, Altus Air Force Base is completing Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection upgrades to all the Installation Entry Control Points. The first gate to be upgraded is the South Gate.

The South Gate will only be used for INBOUND COMMERCIAL TRAFFIC ONLY. All privately owned vehicle traffic will be denied entry and will be turned around during construction phases.

Construction is expected to last approximately 97 days. Further information will be disseminated 30 days prior to construction start dates for the remaining Installation Gates.

During the construction phases, delays are expected at all gates and we ask the public to please bear with us during these much needed upgrades.

If you have any questions or comments please contact Staff Sgt. O'Neill at 481-7242 or the Security Forces Control Center at 481-7444.
