controls of the tower
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Senior Airman Christopher Hake, 97th Operations Support Squadron, adjusts the digital bright radar indicator in the base aircraft control tower on Jan. 9. The D-BRITE is a visual aid to follow the in-bound aircraft traffic and make sure they stay on course. It can detect things such as planes, cars, mountains and birds more than 60 miles away.
