Past Altus AFB commanders to gain stars

President George W. Bush has nominated two past Altus Air Force Base commanders for promotion. 

Brig. Gen. Mark S. Solo, 97th Air Mobility Wing commander from August 2003 to September 2005, is nominated to become a Major General. He is now Deputy Director, Air, Space and Information Operations, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Col. Carlton D. Everhart II, 97th Air Mobility Wing commander from September 2005 to August 2007, is nominated to become a Brigadier General. He is the Inspector General for the Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.
