Fire Muster

Altus Air Force squadron teams race against the clock to deploy a water hose and knock down a target with a blast of water. The Fire Muster challenged 17 teams in fire-reponse related events ranging from a bucket brigade, donning protective gear, to carrying a manniquin through an obstacle. The 97th Logistical Readiness Squadron "Dawgs" were the winners with the losest compiled times in the various events. Altus Air Force Base also observed Fire Safety Week with a parade of emergency response vehicles from the base and surrounding communities followed by an open house at the base fire station.
