Duck Derby raises $1,200 for youth

ALTUS AFB -- --  The Altus Air Force Base Youth Center raised $1,200 through the annual Duck Derby fund-raiser held last Saturday.
Col. David Allvin netted rubber ducks and ducklings to select winning numbers for prizes. This was his first official function as 97th AMW commander.
Winners of the event were: Grand Prize $300 winner - T.O. Hilley, Director 97th Maintenance Directorate; 2nd Place $150 - Anthony Overbay, 97th Contracting; 3rd Place $75 - Brenda Andrew, 97th Mission Support Squadron. In the Kids Category, winners were: Grand Prize $50 - J.B. Menees; 2nd Prize $25 Hastings gift card - Randy Hessley; 3rd Prize $12 - Hastings gift card - Jeannie Morhiser.
Profits from the Duck Derby and hot dog sales at the event will support youth activities and programs throughout the year.
