Altus AFB's newly remodeled and expanded Exchange store is scheduled to host a ribbon cutting ceremony May 9, 2014 and invites base members to enjoy food, refreshments and giveaways following the ceremony.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony and food tasting begins at 11 a.m. at the Exchange.
The event will allow customers to shop and enjoy activities to help showcase the store's improved selection while catering to the needs of base members.

"We were trying to find a way to give more merchandise and options to this community while still being good fiscal stewards," said Michelle Mackey, Altus AFB Exchange general manager.

"The biggest changes are home and electronics along with men's and women's clothing," said Mackey. "We approximately tripled our sales floor size in the main store section."

"We encourage the community to take advantage of the new facilities so we can keep sales up and keep restocking our shelves," said Mackey.

With the expansion, the Exchange is hiring more positions. To apply, visit http://www.shopmyexchange.com/AboutExchange/Careers/index.htm.
