ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --

The Altus 5/6 Warrior Council hosted a base-wide ruck run competition from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on July 24, 2020, at Altus Air Force Base, Okla. The event was open to all military personnel and their families to march around the track with a ruck weight of their choosing. All funds raised during the ruck run went toward the upcoming 2020 staff and technical sergeant release parties. During the ruck run, the 5/6 Warrior Council held a raffle contest while they served food and beverages to the attendees. In adherence with current policy, participants were reminded to maintain a six foot social distance and wear a mask if not possible.
