The Air Force's 2008 expeditionary entertainment unit, Tops In Blue, will perform at the Altus City Auditorium, July 1.

This year's performance,  Deja Blue , changes from the customary February visit to July 1. The two-hour program features 30 active-duty Air Force performers selected from auditions at Air Forces world-wide and includes action-packed choreography with music from movies, pop, country, hot Latin, and patriotic numbers.

Tops In Blue provides quality entertainment to Air Force personnel stationed worldwide at remote and deployed locations while simultaneously promoting community relations, supporting recruiting efforts and serving as ambassadors for the United States of America and the United States Air Force.

The team is celebrating 55 years of entertaining military members and their families around the globe and will perform 150 shows in 30 countries during the tour which ends March 2009.

The performance will be at the Altus City Auditorium, 201 E. Commerce. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. performance. Seating is limited.

The Tops In Blue team will arrive early in the day with two semis, buses and support vehicles and spend about six hours setting up the stage and 36,000 pounds of equipment. The production is completely self-contained in modules designed for transport by tractor-trailer or aircraft.
