Airmen Against Drunk Driving has teamed up with Altus Cab Company to provide 24x7 service to all personnel assigned to Altus AFB! This includes Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, Civilian, and TDY personnel, to include family members (anyone who holds a valid DoD Identification Card). The addition of this service augments the current AADD service that is provided on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and federal holiday evenings.
This will not replace AADD.

An ADD business card with phone number is prominently displayed at all establishments at Altus AFB that serve alcohol.

Currently the back side of the card is blank, however, for only $5.00 you are able to purchase a stamp that will be accepted by Altus Cab Co. for transportation. The Rules of Engagement are as follows:

1. Taxi service will be provided on a call basis for persons possessing/purchasing an approved "Dial-A-Ride Card" made available by the Altus Airmen Against Drunk Driving (AADD) Program.

The Altus AADD program will sell the cards at cost and is not for profit. The current cost of this service to the individual purchasing a pre-paid card will be $5.00. Each "Dial-A-Ride Card" made available by the AADD program management will allow for the initial (first) passenger transportation to their destination (see paragraph "4"). Each additional passenger is responsible for paying their $1.00 additional occupant fee, provided they travel to the same destination as the first passenger (see paragraph "4"). If passengers from the same point of origin desire to travel to more than one destination, a separate "Dial-A-Ride Card" must be used for each fare.

2. A "Dial-A-Ride Card" must be surrendered to the driver. Individuals refusing to show their DoD identification card will not be transported. Refusal to show the DoD identification card will be grounds for refusal of service (when passenger intends to pay using the "Dial-A-Ride Card").

3. A valid DoD Identification Card must be shown to the driver (the driver will not take possession of the DoD Identification Card as it is the property of the Department of Defense). Individuals refusing to show their DoD Identification Card will not be transported under the guidelines of the "Dial-A-Ride Card," rather the passenger(s) will be transported at their own expense.

4. The "Dial-A-Ride Card" is good only for transportation directly to a residence on or off base. Any attempt to use the "Dial-A-Ride Card" for anything other than its intended purpose will be grounds for refusal of service utilizing the "Dial-A-Ride Card." Use of this card may be extended to individuals who experience vehicle breakdowns or otherwise become stranded.

It will not be accepted for fares to another bar, restaurant, restaurant, convenience stores, etc. Stops at such locations between point of origin and destination are also prohibited.

5. If more than one person is being transported, each stop requires presentation of a "Dial-A-Ride Card" and DoD identification Card. If only one "Dial-A-Ride Card" and DoD Identification Card are presented, all passengers must go to the same residence.

6. Presently this program is available to all valid DoD Identification cardholders (i.e. Active Duty Military, Reserve, and Guard with Military identification cards (permanent party or TDY), their dependents, and Altus AFB civilian personnel.

7. This program is restricted for use to Altus immediate vicinity.

8. Altus Airmen Against Drunk Driving has no liability for the actions of any passenger using a "Dial-A-Ride Card" beyond the reimbursement provided for service.
