From love story to mystery to discovery, WWII widow remains devoted

NORMANDY, France – Peggy S. Harris, a World War II widow, stands next to the grave of her husband, 1st Lt. Billie D. Harris in the Normandy American Cemetery in France. 1st Lt. Harris’ plane was shot down while flying a mission over Nazi-occupied France and crashed into the woods near a small town in Normandy. He never returned home.
