Service members compete for EIC badge at rifle shooting competition
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Maj. Rebb Jones, 97th Air Mobility Wing chief executive, and Staff Sgt. Nicholas Carver, 97th Medical Support Squadron NCO in charge of patient travel, fire M-16A2 service rifles at the Combat Arms firing range Sept. 20, 2012. Jones and Carver were participants in the 2012 Elementary Level Excellence in Competition. The EIC allows any member of the Armed Forces to participate and compete individually for points toward an EIC Badge. Only the top 10 percent of the shooters are eligible for the award.
