Joint humanitarian relief training
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Soldiers from the 168th Brigade Support Battalion, Fort Sill, Okla., and a loadmaster from the 58th Airlift Squadron practice humanitarian relief preparation Aug. 30, 2011. The joint team of about 50 loaded 12 vehicles and six trailers of equipment on and off a C-17 Globemaster III. The goal of this exercise was to train and equip involved units to support the safety, security and survival needs of an area as a result of a natural disaster. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
