ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Lt. Col. Brian Ede, 58th Airlift Squadron commander, receives last minute immunizations from Tech. Sgt. Jessica Putnam, 97th Medical Group Flight Medicine Clinic noncommissioned officer in charge, Jan. 17 at a deployment briefing before his tasking to Pope Air Force Base, N.C. While at Pope AFB, Colonel Ede will be participating in the Haiti humanitarian relief effort. Altus sent six C-17 Globemaster IIIs along with 50 aircrew personnel to help Haiti in its time of need.
