Altus Airmen remember the past with unique briefing
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Kay Nehring, World War II Airborne Demonstration Team Foundation deputy chief of staff, briefed Airmen of the 54th Air Refueling and 58th Airlift Squadrons with footage taken by her father, U.S. Army Air Forces Lt. Charles Nehring, C-47 Skytrain pilot, in the Freedom Community Center during the Airlift and Tanker Association tour July 23, 2014. Pairing the footage with the information she gathered from his letters and flight log, Nehring narrated several of the missions that her father flew during WWII.
