Altus AFB, Fort Carson Army Brigade leverage joint training
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – U.S. Army Sgt. Ray Trevino, 1st Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade AH-64 Apache helicopter maintainer, removes a holding pin from the helicopter’s propeller blade during joint training Nov. 13, 2013. The rotor’s pins must be removed in order to fold back each blade before the aircraft is loaded onto a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft. The joint training allowed both service members to practice real-world operations to ensure proficiency during contingency operations. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Dillon Davis/Released)
