Altus AFB, Fort Carson Army Brigade leverage joint training
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – U.S. Army Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade stabilize an AH-64 Apache helicopter rotor during joint training Nov. 13, 2013. The Apache’s rotors must be stabilized during the “pinning” process to prevent damage. The training allowed Airmen and Soldiers to get their first joint experience and improve future Army and Air Force contingency operations.
