Former POW: ‘Never Give Up’
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – U.S. Marine Sgt. Jack Warner, former prisoner of war, gives a speech on his account as Prisoners of War and Missing in Action during the third annual Prisoners of War and Missing in Action Remembrance Ceremony at the Wings of Freedom Park Sept. 19. He visited the base and shared his experiences with Airmen from Altus and provided a message for young service members, “never give up.” National POW/MIA Recognition Day gives Americans the opportunity to recognize the service and sacrifice given to this country by individuals such as Warner and other prisoners of war and missing in action.
