ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. –Altus High School faculty members watch as members of the 97th Maintenance Directorate open the back of a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III during STEM Faculty Development Day to learn about science, technology, engineering and math career fields, Aug. 8. The STEM program’s vision at Altus AFB is to encourage and increase STEM education in local schools with incentive-based programs, making learning fun for teachers and students grades K-12.
