Altus AFB, Fort Sill conduct emergency deployment readiness joint training
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – A U.S. Army Soldier from the 1-14th Field Artillery Regiment out of Fort Sill, Okla., secures a M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems vehicle onto a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft during a joint emergency deployment readiness exercise between the 58th Airlift Squadron and 1-14th FAR Aug. 14, 2014. During the training, Soldiers and Airmen practiced loading and offloading HIMARS and various U.S. Army vehicles to prepare for joint operations in a deployed setting.
