Base, city leaders sign 2014 Red Ribbon Week, Domestic Violence Prevention Month proclamations
ALTUS, Okla. – Members of Altus Air Force Base and the City of Altus stand with a signed Red Ribbon Week proclamation Oct. 6, 2014. The week will be recognized from Oct. 24-31, 2014. Altus AFB and the City of Altus partnered to help campaign for a community free of drugs and the violence that accompanies it. Additionally, Altus AFB and the City of Altus will be hosting various local drug education events at local schools to help prevent drug use.
