Have you Herd about Altus Air Force Base's Cattle Drive
Local ranchers herd cattle through Altus Air Force Base (AFB), Oklahoma, during the 27th Annual Cattle Drive at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, Aug. 21, 2025. The first Altus AFB cattle drive was held in 1999 with 15 riders and a herd of roughly 30 longhorn cattle parading through the streets of Altus AFB and has been a tradition ever since.
