AMC civic leaders gain insight into Altus mission
U.S. Air Force Capt. Brooks Hardy, 54th Air Refueling Squadron chief of faculty training management, addresses Air Mobility Command (AMC) senior leaders and civic leaders at Altus Air Force Base (AFB), Oklahoma, April 9, 2026. The visit from the AMC leaders to Altus AFB highlighted how the two bases’ missions are directly connected, as Airmen at Altus train on three of Air Mobility Command’s core aircraft—the U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III aircraft, KC-46 Pegasus aircraft, and the KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft.
