ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Tech. Sgt. Amy Cadavero, 97th Medical Group dental laboratory technician, constructs a replica of a patient’s teeth using clay and other resources, June 3. Dental laboratory technicians conduct the art and science of manufacturing corrective devices and replacements for natural teeth. Cadavero is responsible for the creation of various oral appliances patients may need such as crowns, bridges, retainers and sports guards.
