ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Senior Airman Lindsay Fernandez, 97th Medical Support Squadron radiology disaster team chief, was named Innovative Airman of the Week, April 24. With Fernandez’s help checking in and issuing medications to patients, the base Pharmacy processed 4,333 prescriptions and issued 5,000 to patients. Fernandez was also instrumental in the upgrade of the Diagnostic Imaging Department’s $95,000 state-of-the-art system enhancing x-ray capabilities.
