Honorary Commander Boot Camp

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – 97th Air Mobility Wing Honorary Commanders learn about the different Air Force uniforms at the Freedom Community Center during Altus AFB’s first Honorary Commander Boot Camp, March 8. The boot camp was held to allow Honorary Commanders a chance to experience a day in the life of an Airman, and to learn about the history and traditions of the U.S. Air Force. The Honorary Commander program fosters and strengthens the friendship and partnership between the base and surrounding community. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Levin Boland / Released)
