Tech Sgt. Claudia Lares, 97th Medical Group NCO in charge of the Clinical Lab, was named as one of three Innovative Airmen of the Week, Nov. 30, 2012. Lares saved the Air Force more than $3,000 by authenticating 106 test methodologies and discovered several tests could be sent to military labs instead of civilian reference labs.
