Mr. Jeffery Reno, 97th Operations Support Squadron Airfield Operations System specialist, was named as one of the two Innovative Airmen of the Week, Nov. 26, 2012. Reno created the Airfield Automation System which received an Air Force Best Practice Award. The development of this system saves the Air Force approximately 522 man-hours annually. With the cost-conscious culture in mind, Reno enabled his office to convert their paper files to electronic files, saving the Air Force $1,000 annually.
