Farm City Week Incentive Flight

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Col. Ted Detwiler, 97th Operations Group commander, greets Altus community members before going on a Farm City Week incentive flight, Nov. 8, 2012. During the incentive flight, the community members experienced an in-flight refueling from the inside of both a KC-135 Stratotanker and a C-17 Globemaster III. Farm City Week has been held annually for the past 35 years to highlight the importance of agriculture in the local community and invite members of the community on the base to learn and experience the mission of Altus AFB first-hand.
