Farm City Week Tour
ALTUS, Okla., -- Jeff Lorah (L), Robbins Farms manager, passes a cotton picker spindle to Jonathan Greiner (R), son of Col. Michael Greiner, 97th Mission Support Group commander, during a Farm City Week tour at Robbins Farms, Nov. 7, 2012. Lorah taught Greiner and other Altus Air Force Base personnel and families how different types of farming equipment are used during a cotton harvest. Farm City Week is held annually to highlight the importance of agriculture in the Altus and Jackson County economy and focuses on the partnership between the base and the local farming industry.
