Altus AFB celebrates Police Week

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Police Week was celebrated here May 14-18. Police Week is a week to recognize law enforcement officers, both military and civilian for putting themselves in harm’s way for others every day. This photo illustration is a glimpse into the duties the Airmen of the 97th Security Forces Squadron perform for the base on a daily basis. Events during Police Week included a retreat ceremony, a pistol shooting competition at the City of Altus Police Department's shooting range, an obstacle course, and a Sheep Dog Shootout.
