Altus AFB supports Fort Bragg during joint training
ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Tech. Sgt. James W. Snyder III, 58th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, and James E. De La O, 97th Maintenance Directorate C-17 maintainer, load an M777 Howitzer into the back of a C-17 Globemaster III from Altus AFB, Apr. 11, 2012 on the flight line at Pope Air Force Base, N.C. The Howitzer was later airdropped during a Joint Airborne Air Transportability Training at Fort Sill, Okla. During the training, two C-17s from Altus AFB airdropped an M777 Howitzer and Soldiers from the 82nd Airborne, 18th Fires Brigade, Fort Bragg. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Kenneth W.
