SOUTHWEST ASIA – Tech. Sgt. Mario Alcala, 332nd Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron weather technician, takes a wind reading with a hand-held weather sensor March 1, 2012 at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Alcala performs this task every hour, on the hour during his shift to track weather trends and make forecasts. He is deployed from Altus Air Force Base, Okla., and is a native of Dallas.
