Earth Day 2011

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Col. James Peccia III, 97 Mission Support Group commander, Lt. Col. Yvonne Spencer, 97 Civil Engineer Squadron commander and members of Cub Scout Pack 212 plant the state tree of Oklahoma, the Redbud, in the center of Wings of Freedom Park April 22 to celebrate Arbor Day 2011 and the 41 annual Earth Day. The Air Force joined millions of people around the world with its theme, Conserve Today – Secure Tomorrow, to reflect and build a more sustainable Air Force and world environment.
