Altus Airmen volunteer to improve dormitories

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- In addition to planting grass seed that is already covering the former dirt and mud yard, 32 volunteers removed debris from dorm 331, shifted two truckloads of soil and sand, set 40 plants, placed 2 pallets of paver stones, spread 30 bags of mulch, and placed an irrigation system to water and care for the work they’d done.
