POW/MIA Ceremony

A KC-135 Stratotanker from the 54th Air Refueling Squadron and a C-17 Globemaster III from the 58th Air Lift Squadron Fly complete the Prisoners of War/Missing in Action ceremony that was held at the 97th Air Mobility Wing base Wings of Freedom Park Sept. 17. The POW/MIA ceremony is held annually to remember those who have sacrificed their lives and takes place during sunrise to help usher in the start of a new dawn/new hope as well as facilitate the electronic display of the names of the military members from Oklahoma still listed as missing in action.
