ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – (Left) Airman First Class Angelo Llorente, 97 Logistics Readiness Squadron, tightens a rope while Technical Sgt. Jered Evans, 97th LRS, hammers a cross into the ground. Altogether, 1200 crosses were set in place in front of the Altus Community center 23 March to represent the number of people who die, nationally, from tobacco related deaths every day. There are 16 red crosses representing the Oklahomans who die every day from tobacco related deaths. The main event Kick Butts Day will be held 24 March at the Altus Community Center 4-6pm.
